A small but strong evening at the speaking club: despite snow chaos and last-minute changes, the meeting stayed structured, warm and instructive – exactly what Toastmasters International is about when it comes to communication, public speaking and personal development.
Because Birgit P. and Meral G. had to leave early due to the public-transport situation, the Grammarian and Table Topics Evaluator roles dropped out because of the weather. We responded flexibly: brief live feedback on the Table Topics hosting (Christian K., Leon S., Christian B.), followed by mini-evaluations for all participants by Sarah B. – pragmatic, appreciative, great for rhetoric and speaking freely.
