Speeches and Table Topics
„whoami“ – Mario delivered his icebreaker speech, sharing three personal stories that showed how small pieces of advice can have a lasting effect. A powerful start into his Pathways journey! (🏅Best Usage of the Word of the Evening: „positive“)
„Pandemic Questions“ – Christian K. offered deep reflections on how unresolved trauma might be linked to the rise of right-wing ideology, and what society can do to foster healing. This brave and thoughtful speech earned him the title Best Prepared Speech. 🌍🧠
Katharina (🔨 Hammer of the Evening) led the Table Topic session. Kristof, Martin, Mario (🏆 Best Table Topic Speech), guest Daniel and guest Adriana rose to the occasion with spontaneous insights and plenty of Redelust. This was a true exercise in free speech und gaining confidence!
All speeches – both prepared and impromptu – were evaluated with care and depth:
Christian B. (🎯 Best Evaluation), Thomas D. and Tim evaluated the speeches.
💡 Guest Ibrahima added a twist as quizmaster – he managed to ask tricky questions without taking any notes. Impressive!

Three methods for small steps with big impact:
- ✅ Pomodoro Technique – from Thomas D.: 25 minutes focused work + 5-minute breaks. A great tool for your next presentation!
- 📈 1%-Rule – Improve by just 1% a day. That’s how improving your rhetorical skills really works.
- ⏱ Two-Minute Rule – Start small. Draft a speech idea. Practice one sentence. Just begin – and keep going!
Enjoy your next small steps!
